Class Descriptions
Creative Dance
Ages 3-5
Creative Dance is perfect for the young dancer that loves to move, sing and dance! This class will include the very basics of ballet but will focus on positive energy and all types of movement for young dancers.
(Recommended 1-2 classes per week)
Primary Ballet
Ages 5-7
Young dancers will be introduced to classical ballet technique while building strength and flexibility, confidence, musicality, and artistry. Students do not need any previous ballet experience to join Primary.
(Recommended 1-2 classes per week)
Level 1A/1B
Ages 8 and older
This beginner ballet class does not require any previous training and is the perfect class for any dancer who would like to learn the beauty of ballet. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet technique, body alignment and learn proper ballet etiquette.
(Highly recommended 2 classes per week)
Levels 2A/2B
*By audition, Ages 9 and older
Level 2 dancers will continue to grow their knowledge of classical ballet technique at an advanced beginner level. At least two years of ballet experience is needed to audition for Levels 2 and up. It is highly recommended that dancers in Level 2 take pre pointe classes to prepare for pointe work.
(Must take a minimum of 2 technique classes per week to be considered for pointe shoes)
Levels 3/4
*By audition, Ages 11 and older
Dancers will grow their knowledge of classical ballet technique at an intermediate level. At least three years of ballet experience is needed to audition for Levels 3/4. Please note that students in this level will need to take Level 2 classes since their is only one designated Level 3/4 class per week.
(Must take a minimum of 2 technique classes per week)
Pre/Beginning Pointe
*By audition, Ages 10 and older
Students who have mastered intermediate classical ballet skills and shown consistent dedication to improving their technique will be given the option to start pointe work. It is highly recommended that students in Level 2 take this class as pre pointe work preparation.
(Must take a minimum of 2 technique classes per week )
Intermediate Pointe
*By audition, Ages 11 and older
Students who have mastered intermediate classical ballet skills and shown consistent dedication to improving their technique will continue to work on their pointe work strength training.
(Must take a minimum of 2 technique classes per week )
Men's Class
Ages 6+
If you have a son that enjoys movement or would like to build strength and increase flexibility for sports, this class will be the perfect fit! Mr. Noah Strand has created a program to keep the boys active and strong for any sport, while learning basic ballet technique.
*Men can take both this class and any other age or level appropriate classes.
Conditioning and Stretch Classes
Ages 8 through Adult
This is the perfect class to boost your technique, strength and flexibility for both dancers and adults. A mix of Yoga, Pilates and strength training will be introduced to all students to improve their ballet skills.
*Students will need a mat, Theraband and yoga block for this class
